GALLERY PLACE ADDITIONAL PRIVATE EVENT INFORMATION
Located in the Chinatown section of Penn Quarter, one of Washington’s most vibrant neighborhoods,
the Piedmont Room at Clyde’s of Gallery Place is an ideal location for business and social gatherings alike. In keeping with the Victorian saloon atmosphere of Clyde’s of Gallery Place, the Piedmont Room is decorated with Equestrian antiques and original artwork and is complete with its own bar and an indoor balcony overlooking the Gallery Place atrium. The Piedmont Room comfortably accommodates up to 130 guests for a seated event and 200 for a standing reception.
We welcome all inquiries into space availability and will reserve this room for up to three days without a deposit (December events require an immediate deposit). A reservation is confirmed upon receipt of a signed confirmation letter and a non-refundable deposit of $100 (cash, check or credit card). The deposit will be applied to the final bill. If your organization is tax-exempt, please provide a certificate copy with the deposit.

Sunday - Wednesday
Food & Beverage minimum of $1000, $150 room fee
Thursday - Saturday

Menu Selection
- Please submit your menu selection at least seven days prior to your event.
- We are able to accommodate vegetarians and guests with special dietary needs.
- Please note last-minute bookings are subject to product availability. Prices and menu items are subject to change.
Guaranteed Guest Attendance
- A guaranteed guest count is due by noon, two business days prior to your event. This count is not subject to reduction.
- If a final count is not received, you will be charged for the number of guests listed on your confirmation letter.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
- Payment is due in full by the conclusion of the event.
- All events are subject to a taxable 20% service charge and 10% DC sales tax.
- Cancellations must be made in writing, via fax, e-mail, or U.S. mail.
- One week or more in advance of the event: $100 cancellation fee
- Less than one week in advance: the higher of 50% of the estimated contract or $25 per guest
- Less than two days in advance: the higher of 100% of the estimated contract or $50 per guest
Specialty Desserts & Corkage Fees
- Our Pastry Chef is available if you would like a special cake or dessert.
- If any food or beverage items are brought in from outside the restaurant, additional fees may be charged.
- Cake-plating fee: $3 per person
- Corkage fee: $15 per bottle
Additional Information
- The Piedmont Room includes a wireless handheld microphone, podium, projection screen, flat screen television, DVD and CD players, iPod and laptop connections, digital cable, and XM Satellite Radio.
- Our table settings include white tablecloths and dark green napkins. Votive candles are also available for each table.
- We are pleased to assist you in any way to give your reception a personal touch; a list of area services can be provided upon request.
