The Tombs, which opened in 1962, is adjacent to the Washington’s Georgetown University campus and it is legendary among students, faculty and alumni. By day faculty and neighbors are the regulars. Later at night the students move in. On Sundays, brunch at The Tombs following a visit to historic Holy Trinity Church is a longtime Georgetown tradition.
